AIR KOOL is a refrigerated, counterflow heat exchanger that increases the amount of condensed oil and water droplets in the compressed medium for removal by the final separator. AIR KOOL increases the efficiency of the final separator and reduces operating costs by extending the life of the available filter cartridges. AIR KOOL is available for BAUER high pressure compressors / boosters up to 22 scfm with operating pressures between 1800 and 7000 psig. The PLC unit B-CONTROL is a fully automatic electronic compressor control, supervising all functions of your BAUER compressor unit. On a well arranged displayall information of the running state of the compressor unit are indicated. You need high pressure breathing air? Why does it need purifying? Without purification, air from a piston compressor conforms in no way with the air quality standards required by divers; it is saturated with moisture, contains oil vapours and may taste and smell of impurities. Therefore, an air processing system is of prime importance. Without air purification, serious damage to your health and equipment may ensue. The patented SECURUS system monitors the saturation of the filter cartridge by measuring the humidity of the molecular sieve and gives an "advance warning" on the B-CONTROL and SECURUS display when the filter cartridge should be changed. SECURUS automatically switches the compressor unit off if the cartridge is saturated. The cartridge's level of saturation is also indicated optically.
